Romance and romantasy have become defining forces in today’s publishing landscape, drawing devoted readers and reshaping what audiences are looking for in fiction. As bestselling titles climb the charts and reader excitement spreads across social media, interest in emotionally rich, immersive storytelling continues to grow.

That growing enthusiasm has inspired a wide range of themed events where readers and authors gather to celebrate romance and romantasy through book festivals, signings, conventions, elegant balls, and special fan experiences. Many of these events combine storytelling, community, and immersive fun, making them stand-out destinations for romance readers and writers alike.

These events also give self-published authors valuable opportunities to build connections, showcase their books, and engage directly with readers in the romance and romantasy community. We wanted to share an overview of events coming to a location near you. They run the gamut from sweet romance to 18+ Romantasy, from smaller author signings to extravagant balls—just pick and choose the ones that are right for you.
